Mastering your Money

February 18, 2018

I have received many queries on how we can help you with expense management. I’ll be devoting this blog to share with you how the process will take place.

This is a 3 months program, it starts with a complimentary session, a chat on whether we’re a good fit for you.

Many of us work better with people we trust and relate to, especially as finances or expenses are very personal matters. This first meeting is for our clients to establish their comfort level.

The program will begin with an evaluation of the current expenses, targeted savings and lifestyle preference.

Next, we work on the mindset. Ever heard of the Law of Attraction? Simply put, it is the ability to attract into our lives whatever we are focusing on. This naturally applies to money too. (Refer to this blog post on Money beliefs)

As a Certified Practitioner of Neuro-Linguistic Programming, our consultant helps to clear limiting beliefs and work on creating an achievable future goal. Towards the end of the 3 months program, you will:

(1) set up automated processes

(2) have greater clarity on finances and future financial goal

(3) be on your way to your goals

For those of you reading this blog and prefers to do it on your own, you can start your path to financial clarity & responsibility by following these tested & proven steps:

  • Plot out your current expenses; where you are spending all your money on. (Tip: Look at your credit card & bank account statements.)

  • Set a budget for each category, eg. Groceries, Transport etc, according to your goals. (Tip: Set a 1-year goal, then break it down into bite-sized ones – 6, 3, 1 months).

  • Analyse objectively and determine what can be automated, e.g. setup a standing instruction to transfer $x to another bank account on day your salary is credited.

At the minimum, this will get your started on your financial goals.
