I’ve had clients telling me ‘I don’t know what I want’.
It’s good to know that you don’t know what you want.
In fact, not knowing what you want is the beginning of the road to discovery about yourself.
You can start by method of elimination, by listing out what you don’t want.
Then what’s left will be those you could possibly want.
Time to try it out and decide whether the shoe fits.
As coaches, there are ways to find out what exactly do you want.
Questions such as:
What would happen if you did / didn’t do it?
What does this mean to you?
What do you believe about this?
Do you have permission to experience this?
What’s your highest intention about this?
These are exploratory questions that goes beyond the initial surface level questions.
These questions prompt the person to go deeper inside to find out the answers.
