It's interesting to notice how my relationship with certain things shift over time.
I've always been a workaholic. Back when I first started working, I would work on weekdays with overtime till late at night. There was even a point in time where I went back to office voluntarily every Sat to work.
Now that I'm working for myself, being an entrepreneur and startup, I cover all aspects of the business from admin, accounts, appointment booking, marketing, generating content to the actual coaching (which I love).
I work almost every day. I recently shared this with another group, my hobby is work. My work gives me satisfaction and fulfilment, so I'm happy doing it. And this changes my relationship to 'work' – one which I look forward to instead of dreading it.
Things weren’t like this at the beginning, when I first started my own coaching business, I dreaded the mundane admin & marketing part. It took me a while to shift my perspective. Is it worth it? I would say yes, now, I see things from a different perspective.
Shift perspective, moving onward.
